If you are selling your home you will need to make it as attractive as possible to buyers. Many people do not realize how their home is presented to strangers seeing it for the first time. Here are some tips to give your self the best chance of finding a buyer quicker.
- Clear your home from papers, magazine and laundry. Empty any bins and put them away.
- Make sure your house is clean and tidy, pay attention to bathrooms, toilets and the kitchen.
- Keep any pets you have out of sight, including their bedding and feeding bowls.
- Put fresh flowers in the main rooms and master bedroom.
- Leave the internal doors open as this will make the place look bigger. You can close doors after the room has been views to avoid distraction.
- Start the viewing in the least attractive rooms. Invite the buyer to enter each room.
- View the kitchen or lounge towards the end, these are normally the most attractive rooms and will be the last impression taken. |
